My stay at Travelodge Kew Bridge was quite mixed. The location was excellent, making it convenient for visiting Kew Gardens and nearby dining options. However, the lack of air conditioning made the rooms very warm, and I found the cleanliness not up to standard. Overall, I'd rate it a 6 out of 10.
Rooms
6.0
The room was fairly standard but incredibly warm, especially without air conditioning, leaving me uncomfortable during my stay.
Service
6.0
While most staff members were friendly and helpful, the management needs to improve the upkeep of the hotel to match the staff's efforts.
Location
8.0
The hotel's location was a great advantage, being close to bus stops and just a short walk from Kew Bridge Station, making travel very convenient.
Dining
6.0
Although the breakfast offerings were tasty and plentiful, some options were not up to standard, like the watery scrambled eggs.
Facilities

The facilities included an onsite restaurant, but I was disappointed that there was no room service, which could have enhanced the stay.

7.0/10
I had a decent stay overall at Travelodge Kew Bridge, but there were a few bumps. The staff were genuinely friendly and accommodating, making my experience more pleasant. However, the car park situation is concerning due to safety issues, which took away from the comfort of my stay. That said, the hotel’s cleanliness and convenient location were definite highlights.
Rooms
6.0
The room I stayed in was spacious and clean, but the bed had seen better days with a noticeable dip in the middle. I was also surprised that only two tea bags were provided for a room designed for four guests.
Service
9.0
The staff, including Irene and Dean, were excellent and provided helpful local travel guidance which I appreciated. They even offered room upgrades when possible, showing their commitment to good service.
Location
9.0
The hotel's position is fantastic, directly overlooking the river and just a short distance from train and bus connections. I found it easy to explore London, as Kew Gardens was only a pleasant 30-minute walk away.
Dining
6.0
While I didn't have breakfast at the hotel, I discovered some great local spots like the Strand Cafe and Express Tavern nearby. However, I did notice some cleanliness issues in the dining area, particularly with the cutlery.
Facilities
5.0
I particularly liked that the hotel had its own car park, which made it convenient. But given my concerns about safety, I would recommend being cautious about parking there.

Breakfast was adequate but could be improved as items kept running out. dinner options were hit or miss, with a decent pizza but an inedible pudding.

Parking at £6 per day was a fantastic value. and the hotel maintained a good standard of cleanliness throughout the communal areas.

My stay at Travelodge Kew Bridge was quite disappointing overall. While the staff were friendly and helpful, the condition of the room and facilities left much to be desired. The location was convenient for visiting Kew Gardens, but the maintenance issues and cleanliness concerns overshadowed the positives.

The room was old and stifling, with no air conditioning, making it uncomfortable to sleep. The bathroom cleanliness was below expectations, with stains and a non-functional soap dispenser.

I recently stayed at Travelodge Kew Bridge for a couple of nights, and while I found it to be a decent place overall, it had its share of hiccups. The location is great for public transport and local attractions, and the staff were genuinely friendly and helpful. However, the breakfast was a bit disappointing and there were some issues with room amenities that I didn't quite appreciate. Overall, it's good value but could use some improvements.
Rooms
6.0
The room was clean and bright, but I found it lacking in basic amenities like proper bedding; I had just a sheet to cover me, and honestly, that made for a chilly night.
Service
8.0
The staff, Dee and Dean, were outstandingly helpful and went above and beyond when I had a few minor issues. They really made me feel welcomed and well taken care of.
Location

The hotel is super convenient with a bus stop right outside that takes you to a nearby tube station in no time. Plus, it's close to Kew Gardens and plenty of great local pubs.
Dining
5.0
I was a bit let down by the breakfast; it was predominantly cold, which was disappointing given the price. I found better options at local cafes nearby, which were more reasonably priced.
Facilities

The facilities were okay, but I did notice some cleanliness issues in the dining area, which could use a touch-up during busy hours.
